Hey Kids,

First off, Happy Beginning of the Chaotic Holiday Season to those of you who participate. To all others, hi there!

Secondly, I want to welcome all of you newer members to whom I haven't personally welcomed. Now that the LAAM has a nice number of members (and growing!) it's time to schedule our 1st Meetup! December 3rd will be the day (info below - in the vicinity of the 110/5/2 freeways). A little short notice, but I wanted to have this meeting before planning a date started conflicting with people's festive schedules.

So, at our first fun meeting let's:

1) Meet one another (an obvious one).
2) Share what we do artistically - for those of you who would like to. If you're able to, please bring samples of your work to show and tell. In other words, these samples could be photographs of your work, portfolios, postcards, business cards, photocopies, computer printouts, or even a small original. (Space doesn't permit for larger items, sorry.)
3) Talk about what we'd like to do for future Meetups. Think of an activity that you'd like for the group to do and share it with us. It's our goal to meet casually once a month, but to also go to a couple of different events throughout the month. Your input will definitely help.
4) Inspire...
