Hi Caitlyn, just thought I'd leave a quick note, I'm new to the group and love design/art as well. There's a book I keep looking at in Borders called Long Beach Architecture: An Unexpected Metropolis, apparently LB is the 5th largest city in LA and has many representations of various decades of architecture. Maybe we can organize an event and go exploring :-)
