Introduction

I'm a photo retoucher as a profession and I paint in oils on the side. I've always been an artist and I love art, museums, art books and would love to connect with other artists/art lovers!

What kind of Art Meetup events would you like to see us facilitate? (ex. museum outings - art openings - workshops - etc.)

I'm always open to checking out new art exhibits!

What do you feel is missing from the "Art World"?

The only thing I think is missing in the art world is more money for emerging artists. This encourages creativity when many potentially great artist would need to choose to make a living instead of making art.

Which artist(s) inspire you?

I love realist figure artist.

I'm a figure artist.

Which part of the "art world" interests you? (ex. museums, contemporary art, sculptures, antiques, jewelry, etc.)

Hey again Ed,

Dancing. I adore dancing but haven't seen the postings for dance "meet-ups"
I guess. If there is music I dance even if it means being the first person on
the dance floor or wherever.
On the weekends I like to get a meal, catch up with friends and I look for
things to do I haven't done or done lately. Last week I saw a one man play "AWAKE"
with a few "Traveling Girlfriends". it was about an artist who nevertheless loves control.
Been to any first Thursdays lately?

Hey Ed from over the bridge...

I am a big art fan myself and started painting about a year ago. Have you been to Molaa lately? They
put on a night at Moola some Thursdays and have a DJ and so on. What medium do you work with?
