My name is Johnny G and I'm a freelance photographer and artist working in Los Angeles. Because I admire various forms of art, this meetup will be a great place to share, learn, and make new friends in the art community.

What do you feel is missing from the "Art World"?

"Truer artists" are pushed too far into the art world background to make way for more commercially safe art. Would like to see more of these truer artists surface and present their work to the world.

Which artist(s) inspire you?

Those artists that beat their own odds and accomplish living for their art. Also, artists who paint from their souls and love to inspire others.

Are you an artist? If so, what type of art do you create?

I am a photographer and painter. I love creating photographs of nature, abstract building, obscure elements. I also paint abstract paintings on canvas and paper.

Which part of the "art world" interests you? (ex. museums, contemporary art, sculptures, antiques, jewelry, etc.)

The part of the art world which promotes and displays the growth of the artist community.
