Introduction

Hello Everyone out there in the Art World. I'm Albert, I look forward to meeting others who are interested in Visual Culture as well.

What kind of Art Meetup events would you like to see us facilitate? (ex. museum outings - art openings - workshops - etc.)

Museums - Art Openings - Workshops - Music Events - Road trips and inspirational hikes.

What do you feel is missing from the "Art World"?

The art world is missing, " Art for Creative Expression Sake". Seems like there are lot of Artist who use creative outlets for Financial Gain or Careers. Just like to see more "Free Expression".

Which artist(s) inspire you?

Albrecht Durer, the 17th Century Etching are stunning. Seems like it is hard to find someone as technically skilled in the area of Painting and etching. His lines are precise and Mathematical. YOu have to check out his stuff. He paints well too.

Are you an artist? If so, what type of art do you create?

Yes, I'm an artist. Since a child I've always loved to paint and do sculpture. It's truly an outlet for myself. I also work in the field of Graphic Design. Very Creative and having an artistic eye and mind has given me an edge in the field.

Which part of the "art world" interests you? (ex. museums, contemporary art, sculptures, antiques, jewelry, etc.)

All parts of the art world interest me. Even the stuff I'm not so interested interest me.
