What kind of Art Meetup events would you like to see us facilitate? (ex. museum outings - art openings - workshops - etc.)

I'm open to anything. Any sort of art exposure enriches.

What do you feel is missing from the "Art World"?

Accessibility. The general public needs to be exposed to art; definately more museum field trips and inexpensive art programs for limited-income children. Art increases sensitivity, so it's so important that society value creative expression.

Which artist(s) inspire you?

I'm not sure how to answer this. I have a thousand anwers. This rectangle is not big enough.

Are you an artist? If so, what type of art do you create?

I am a commercial artist. I'm a graphic designer, photographer, and editor for a non-profit. My personal photography tends to be mostly architectural.

Which part of the "art world" interests you? (ex. museums, contemporary art, sculptures, antiques, jewelry, etc.)

I enjoy the decorative arts, but I also love painting. I love art history and the story of the artist's lives.

It would have been better if we had a time to meet for coffee after the event. I'm sure some people did that, but I lost everyone.

    Congrats on the first draft! That's a huge accomplishment! Whenever I finish my first draft, I put it in a drawer for a few months to let it go "cold". I work on another script. Then when that one is done, I put it away and retrieve the other one. When I go back through it, it's a fresh look and I can see a lot of things I need to fix. Sorry for the ramble! Good luck!
