Hello Everyone,
My name is Sarah Pavsner and I teach resource at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. I will begin at another school this fall for students with Autism. Anyway Rosa Maria Marquez a gallery owner in Highland Park have designed a workshop for one week this summer. Since I have almost ten years experience work experience with students with disabilities, I thought it would be great to gear this workshop specifically for this population.
We are not taking too many students to keep the individualized instruction aspect in play. Please look at the details, pass on this information and let me know your questions, comments or concerns
Thanks
Sarah
The details are as follows July 7th-11th morning session 9-12 afternoon session 1-3:00 $100.00 for the week (includes materials) Mask and More - This is an workshop in which the students will create, design and write about a character and then make a mask from the design they created. Location is at Rose Rock Gallery in Highland Park 4108 N. Figureoa
I am actually moving to Santa Monica in two weeks time and can conduct workshops on the westside. Currently I teach resource at a public charter school but will begin teaching at Gilbert Hall, a new private school for students with Autism. I am an artist as well and have taught drawing, clay, mask making and printmaking and could design one according to your needs.
My phone number is [masked] if you would like more information. Thanks for your interest.
